Social Media Analysis: British Columbia Snowstorm
INFO 250: Networks, Crowds, and Communities
The goals of this assignment was to conduct a systematic social media monitoring campaign to explore a certain event or topic using specialized tools for content analysis. I create a random sample of approximately 100 tweets about the 2016 British Columbia snowstorm, then analyzed the results using a numbered key system expressing the source and tone of the each tweet. I used charts and figures to express the conclusion of my analysis, highlighting the difficulties I encountered throughout the process. Below is my final report for this project.
